High Torque IP68 Motor

All GX Series Winches utilize an oversized high speed/high torque motor for longevity. The easier it is for your drive to do the work the longer it will last! GX motors feature a 6061 anodized aluminum exterior for superior water ingress protection & heat management, leading to unparalleled longevity and customer satisfaction. Our rotors feature large gauge windings & are up to 2.5x larger per spec’d “wattage” than some competitors.

Italian Manufactured Transmission

Each GX Series winch has an Italian Manufactured transmission (not Chinese). Like our motor exterior, aluminium is the material of choice. Aluminium dissipates heat 20x faster than stainless steel, ensuring a long life on even high volume vessels.

Twin Shaft Bearing Design

GX Series winches feature a twin shaft bearing design with one on the non drive end and another in the collar between the transmission and cradle. This extra triple sealed bearing prevents side load on the transmission.

Emergency Manual Release

Each GX Series winch features an emergency manual release as standard.

HD 316 Stainless Steel Construction

All GX Series winches feature oversized 316 stainless steel shafts, quad welded spools, and 6-10mm 316 SS plate on the cradle and flanges. Our GX4, GX5, & GX6 winches feature an additional rear 25mm solid 316 SS bracing bar to prevent distortion under high load.
